加拿大移民：近日，加拿大石油生产商协会(CAPP)表示，受美国页岩气的打压，未来10年内加拿大的天然气产量恐会下滑。发展液化天然气是加拿大天然气行业未来的希望。
目前加拿大卑诗省立项中的液化天然气项目有十多个，但分析师预测其中只有少数几个能在短期内开始建设。CAPP执行长蒂姆·麦克米兰(Tim McMillan)认为，打入全球液化天然气市场能加强加拿大天然气行业的长期生存能力，并给当地带来的巨大经济效益。
CAPP数据显示，2007年，每天有约104亿立方尺的天然气从加拿大出口至美国，这个数字在2014年降至74亿，下降约30%。目前加拿大天然气产能接近145亿立方尺每日。若未来10年内不新建液化天然气输出设施，产能会降至130亿立方尺每日。如大力发展建设相关输出设施，产能会在2030年升至170亿立方尺每日。
加拿大卑诗省政府也在积极采取措施加快液化天然气项目的落实。西北太平洋天然气公司旗下总额高达360亿原的液化天然气项目目前已获得政府的支持，政府承诺将给与开发商25年收税稳定性的保证。
CAPP表示，全球天然气交易总量已从1994年的85亿立方尺每日涨至目前的320亿立方尺每日，预计在未来10年仍将保持稳定的涨幅。当前正是加拿大液化天然气进军全球市场的良机。M.YM16.CoM

据塞浦路斯邮报报道，塞浦路斯天然气公司在9月已经开展为期5年的天然气供应的正式招标，有至少17家公司向塞浦路斯天然气公司投标。通过3周的时间评估各公司的标书，缩小谈判范围，最终签订销售协议。除提供燃料供应外，供应方还需负责安排相关的基础设施。此外，液化天然气、压缩天然气等其他相关技术均采取开放式招标的形式。
塞浦路斯政府于11月初公布了部分海上天然气区块开采权，这是即将于明年2月份发布的第二轮招标结果的一部分。在今年5月份政府发布的专属经济区第二轮招标中，共有5家独资公司和10家合资公司投标，而此次颁发的开采许可主要是针对位于第12区块北部和东北部的4个相邻区块，即第2、3、9和11区块。中标公司分别是意大利埃尼公司和韩国天然气公司(第2、3区块)，由法国道达尔公司、俄罗斯诺瓦泰克公司、以及GPB全球资源合资公司联合组成的开采集团(第9区块)，此外，法国道达尔公司还获得了第11区块的独立开采权。
塞浦路斯将于未来数月与上述公司就开采协议进行协商，并商定具体开采时间。预计谈判成功签署合同后政府可获得至少2亿欧元的签约红利，天然气产业将极大促进塞浦路斯经济发展。
塞浦路斯天然气储量可能远超预期
根据塞浦路斯邮报报道，美国诺伯尔公司塞浦路斯负责人称，塞第12区块的油气储量可能远超过7亿立方英尺的初期预测值。该公司将根据评估井和钻井设备的情况于2013年第一、二季度进行开采，并将在天然气层下方探测石油。该负责人表示，根据地质分析，该区域必定存在石油，只是需要探测具体位置、深度及储量。
此外，诺伯尔公司正在与政府协商在瓦西里科建设液化天然气厂，预计建成后每年对来自第12区块天然气的加工能力为500万吨。其中较为重要的一点是，该液化天然气厂需要具备日后扩张产能和产量的能力，因为该厂未来不仅覆盖塞专属经济区内所有区块，甚至还将涵盖包括以色列在内的东地中海其他地区天然气的加工生产。

拉脱维亚移民关注拉脱维亚移民经济：拉脱维亚政府日前敲定了一项旨在拆分本国天然气垄断企业拉脱维亚天然气公司(LatvijasGaze)的计划，预计将在2017年底前完成。

据悉，德国意昂集团(E.on)时下也在寻求出售其在LatvijasGaze中持有的47.2%股份，但是出售过程由于这家拉脱维亚公用事业公司未来的不确定性已被搁置。
拉脱维亚政府内阁日前批准了拉脱维亚能源法修正案，修正案要求LatvijasGaze建一个分开的独立公司，在2017年4月3日前运作本国的主要天然气管道和地下天然气储存设施。2017年底前，天然气运输和储存业务的所有权必须与天然气销售分开。
