精算专业在中国只有部分高校开设相关专业，课程设置也难度不一，往往让人望而却步，但是，在澳洲精算或许并非如此遥不可及。

VETASSESS对精算师的职业评估有以下几个方面：

根据Seek上对精算师这一职位的分析可以看到，
精算师工资一般年薪介于120k到140k之间，但是相对的工作机会并不会太多，Seek上的数据是截至到目前为止有131个相关工作，但是未来五年会有7%的增长幅度。
不同平台的统计数据会有所差别，比如，在Indeed上的数据显示精算的相关工作数量截至到今日发稿为止有269个。
