工程师类别
所有A类工程师类别的职业，比如土木工程师、机械工程师、电子电气工程师、计算机工程师等等均需要在APEGS做相关职业认证。
科普下这个APEGS，它作为萨省专业工程师和地球学家协会（The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan，简称APEGS），负责加拿大工程师和地球学家职业的认证工作。
工程职业和地球科学职业在萨省属于监管职业，如果打算申请这种职业的萨省省提名SINP，需要获得APEGS的member-in-training license。如果打算在萨省从事工程职业或地球科学类职业，申请人要么申请APEGS的认证，要么由专业工程师、专业地学科学家、工程职业许可人、地球科学职业许可人或临时许可人来监管。APEGS没有居住要求，因此申请人可以在申请移民之前在加拿大境外申请。
申请工程师注册时，首先需要提交engineer-in-training申请，同时提供相关的支持材料。APEGS 是按先到先处理的原则处理申请。当你申请 engineer-in-training成功后，再满足一定的条件后，就可以申请专业工程师注册了professional engineering。
大部分情况下APEGS都会进行academic review，从提交材料到收到结果，academic review大概需要1年的时间。如果academic review的结果是denial，那么申请人当前就无法申请APEGS认证。
根据APEGS要求，相关工程师的认证需要申请人过去五年至少有一年加拿大或者等同于加拿大的工作经历才可以注册（等同加拿大工作经历通常指加拿大任何地方的工作或者美国的相关工作经历）。因此，很多国内技术移民申请人并不符合该条件。也就是说，申请人无法完成APEGS注册认证，所以以上A类的工程师职业对大部分申请人来说也不可行。
另外，根据APEGS说明显示。即使申请人符合北美工作经验，并且提交认证申请。如果申请人的大学非北美教育，APEGS通常需要对申请人所学专业进行评估。这个评估一般需要一年左右时间。一年时间来申请一个评估意味着技术移民申请周期更长，职业变动更大。

2017年萨省技术移民外国工人类别发布配额，雇主offer类还是5000，EE配额1700，Occupations In-Demand（非EE紧缺职业类别）配额 3000，SINP EE和非EE紧缺职业类别都是不定期开放。当前 SINP 技术移民申请需要支付300加币申请费（信用卡支付），已经有效的减少了无效申请。

萨省紧缺职业外国工人类别申请条件
★萨省评分标准达到60分（满分100分）；
★雅思必须是G类的，要求要达到CLB 4，2年内有效；

★过去10年内至少有1年工作经验；
（1）工作必须和所学专业高度相关
（2）从事萨省紧缺职业列表上的NOC 0 A B类职业
